THE HUNTRESS JOURNEY
Conducted by Sheila Gordon
Sheila Gordon, Associate Professor of Acting and Voice at St. Edward’s University, is the resident voice and dialect coach at the Mary Moody Northen Theatre. Specializing in both Michael Chekhov and Feldenkrais, she has an extensive background in movement related approaches to both acting and voice production and has been teaching Archetype courses online since the pandemic began.

The Lover/Sensuous Dancer
Conducted by Janet B. Rodgers
For this journey you will need to have a space in which you can move freely as well as lie down. It will be helpful to have a sensuous fabric with you. Ie. A silk scarf or other flowy fabric. Also, please have a notebook and writing utensil since we will take time at the end of the journey to record our impressions.
Janet Rodgers is co-author, along with Frankie Armstrong of Acting and Singing with Archetypes (Limelight Editions/Hal Leonard, 2009). She is Professor Emerita of Theatre, Virginia Commonwealth University where she was the head of voice and speech training for 25 years. She looks forward to taking this journey with you.

Born into a life of music Olisa Enrico-Johnson began exploring theatre in 2003. She received her BFA in performance in 2007 and an MFA in Theater Pedagogy in 2010 from Virginia Commonwealth University where she studied closely under Professor Janet Rodgers exploring a fascinating synergy between Archetypes for the Actor and Ritual Poetic Drama Within the African Continuum. During her years working with Janet, she developed the Creator/Destroyer archetype journey.

Peta Lily is a UK-based award-winning performer, theatre maker, director and workshop leader.
She teaches at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art as well as leading her own open courses. She teaches Clown, mask work and physical theatre and has developed the new genre of Dark Clown.
